Galt Wine Cellars’ Extended Warranty on Breezaire Products

Through the 6th year from date of purchase, Galt Wine Cellars extends all warranty coverage, terms and conditions as stated in the Breezaire or OEM warranty documentation.  With the exceptions listed therein, Galt will provide replacement parts at no charge on any WK, WKC, WKCE or WKL series product

Galt Wine Cellars Loaner Program

On any Breezaire product, whether original purchase or OEM installed, Galt Wine Cellars will provide a replacement system for temporary use to our clients.  This “loan period” is limited to a maximum of 60 days, and is available at any time – for any reason (under warranty or otherwise). 

There is no charge for this service, but the client is required to arrange pre-paid, insured shipping both ways.  The client is likewise asked to retain the original box and packing materials for return shipping.

Should the client wish to keep the cooling system beyond the 60-day period, he or she may purchase it @ manufacturer’s cost.  Should the unit be damaged in transit or while in the client’s possession, the client will pay Galt Wine Cellars manufacturer’s cost and seek reimbursement from the carrier.

ChateauCraft Cabinet Warranty

ChateauCraft, Inc., warranties all structural components of its wine cabinets to be free of fabrication defects for a period of 15 years.  Doors and interior/exterior panels are guaranteed to remain plumb and airtight so long as the cellar is not exposed to excessive sunlight, moisture, abuse or movement and is maintained on stable flooring.  The system must be checked periodically to assure that it is properly leveled and that the wine is stored in a manner whereby the weight is evenly distributed.

Likewise, the gasketry (weather stripping) must be maintained in good condition, free of ruptures and providing a uniformly airtight seal.  Specifically excluded from ChateauCraft warranties are routine maintenance tasks such as replacement of bulbs, labor involved in the removal or exchange of cooling systems, cleaning, hardware adjustments or tarnishing.

In the event of any signs of separation, warping or "sagging", Galt Wine Cellars should be immediately contacted.  The nature of wood is such that it could be slightly effected by environmental changes.  Normally, this will have no effect on function or structural integrity and will not be visible. .

ChateauCraft, Inc., maintains a network of qualified subcontractors throughout the U.S.A. who can address any structural or cosmetic issues.  While they are usually called upon in the event of shipping, or subsequent damage, they are likewise authorized to perform any warranty work.

It is the obligation of any client to mitigate the effects of any structural deficiencies by periodic inspection and providing timely notice of potential problems.

Galt Wine Cellars’ Extended Warranty on Approved Mfg’d Products

For the years 4 through 6, from date of purchase, Galt Wine Cellars extends all warranty coverage, terms and conditions as stated in the OEM warranty documentation.  With the exceptions listed therein, Galt will provide replacement parts at no charge on any product.

This supplemental coverage is not applicable during that initial period of time wherein the original manufacturers’ warranties are in force.
